Described by medical physician and past Chairman of the British
Society of Integrated Medicine, Dr Mark Atkinson as, ''The most
powerful, exciting and clinically effective energy therapy I have
witnessed. In my experience as a holistic medical physician and
specialist in bioenergy therapy, Bi Aura is one of the world's most
effective approaches to accelerated self-healing.
In terms of the benefits of Bi-Aura therapy to the individual who
is experiencing health problems, the benefits are considerable.
I have personally witnessed individuals with rheumatoid arthritis
and chronic back pain recover significant levels of functionality
and wellbeing within just 4 sessions of Bi-Aura the transformation
was not only considerable and unlike anything I have seen with conventional
medications, but it was without side effects and the improvements
were sustained. It is my firm conviction that Bi-Aura has an important
and valuable role to play in the provision of health care (primary
and preventative) to the people of this world and that it should
be made as widely accessible as possible. Having trained in Bi-Aura
myself I can vouch that the training is facilitated to the highest
standard and is conducted with integrity and the utmost professionalism."
The Bio Field
Beyond the physical body and penetrating it are several interconnecting
layers of energy; these make up the bio field otherwise known as
the aura. Energy and information are constantly exchanging between
the chakras and the aura.
The bio field is a fusion of two forms of energy: universal energy,
which comes to us from space, and earth energy from the planet.
Universal energy enters at the crown chakra and earth energy enters
at the base chakra; these energies flow up and down the centre of
the body meeting at other major chakras. Vortices of energy known
as chakras are located at specific places in the body and these
act as energy receivers, generators, transformers and distributors.
Individual chakras transform the energies to vibrate at the appropriate
frequency required to feed the organs of the body dependent on that
chakra.
How Bi-Aura Therapy Works
All illness and chronic pain is encoded in the bio field in the
form of energy blockages or disturbances. These may have arisen
suddenly as a result of physical, mental or emotional trauma or
over a period of time through established mental patterns of stress,
anxiety or fear. These blockages become locked in the auric field
and obstruct the healing flow of energy. When these blockages are
dispersed and the energy flow restored, healing is carried throughout
the body down to the cellular level. The natural instinct of the
body is to heal and, as the healing energy is always present, if
we can remove whatever is preventing us from receiving this energy
then our health will definitely improve.
Bi-Aura practitioners are trained to locate imbalances in the energy
system and use their knowledge of the energy matrix to assess whether
an energy blockage has a physical, mental or emotional root and
whether it is a past or present issue.
Using a series of hand movements Bi-Aura practitioners raise the
vibration of the blocked energy enabling it to be drawn out and
cleared from the chakras and the aura. Similarly they are able to
attract energy to deficient areas.
What Can I Expect ?
At the first session your therapist will chat with you about your
medical history and current emotional and physical status. You will
be asked to remove your shoes, watch, glasses and any chunky jewellery
otherwise you will remain fully clothed. If it is comfortable for
you to do so you will be asked to stand for the first part of the
therapy when, using their hands, the therapist will scan your energy
field and chakras to detect which blockages are apparent. Then the
therapist will increase the flow of Universal and Earth energy within
the body before beginning to clear the chakras.
During this stage there will little or no physical contact although
you may we aware of various sensations such as heat, cold, tingling
or a feeling of lightness or heaviness, none of which are unpleasant
or will last for long.
For the next part of the session you will be invited to sit or
lie down when further energy clearing will take place, by now you
are likely to be in a deep state of relaxation. The more relaxed
the patient can become the more freely the energy is able to move
and the more effective the session is likely to be. Where possible
the final scan is conducted with you again in a standing position.
The sessions last between forty minutes to an hour and we recommend
that you avoid alcohol prior to and following the session and drink
plenty of water to help the body to detox.
How Will I Feel After A Session?
The most frequently reported immediate re-action is a sense of
lightness, as if a weight has been lifted from the shoulders, an
inner sense of well being and to find that symptoms have reduced,
subtly altered or even vanished. Later it is not unusual for people
to experience significantly increased energy levels and many people
find that they sleep extraordinary soundly that night. On rare occasions
clients may experience rapid detox and may feel tired and unwell
for a period as the body restores balance. This is transient and
well being will follow.
Is It Safe?
Bi-Aura therapy is completely non invasive and therefore safe and
effective for all, from the very young to the elderly and animals.
However, because of the electromagnetic nature of the therapy, special
precautions are taken when working with pacemakers or epileptics.
All Bi-Aura registered practitioners have under gone rigorous training
and achieved level 3 A-level equivalent certification and a strict
code of conduct and practice is adhered to.
Will It Cure Me And How Long Will It Take?
Bi-Aura practitioners do not claim to cure but to facilitate self
healing by restoring your natural energy flow. Most ailments can
be alleviated quite quickly and simply though some people can, quite
subconsciously, experience difficulty in letting go of their complaint.
The therapist will encourage the client to participate in their
own healing by learning that our health is effected by the way we
think and how we literally make ourselves ill by holding onto such
things as old emotional pain, poor self image, guilt or resentment.
Clients are then able to recognise and begin to let go of these
negative thought patterns, in turn releasing the trapped energy
causing the ailment. The speed of recovery will be influenced by
the client's willingness to embrace this concept and how deeply
their belief systems are entrenched.
A minimum of four sessions are recommended with further sessions
for more deep seated conditions.
Will My Ailments Come Back?
Once the energy flow is restored to the body the ailment will not
return unless the blockage was caused by a belief system or thought
process which you have not yet released. It is well documented that
optimistic people suffer from fewer ailments than pessimists and
again, as the client becomes empowered to recognise the mental/emotional
causes for illness, they discover by adopting a different attitude
towards these issues they are able to avoid further energy blockages
occurring.
Does Bi-Aura Therapy Work On Animals?
Yes. Animals, and children interestingly, respond particularly
well to Bi-Aura. Because the therapy is neither painful or intrusive
they quickly relax into the session and further, because they have
no expectations or beliefs as to the 'curability' of an ailment
they do not produce any energy flow inhibiting thought energy. Consequently
therapists are able to work deep into the energy matrix without
interference and as it is rare for an animal or child to have an
investment in, or an unconscious desire to hang onto, their ailments
they are able to freely let the energy blockages go. The subsequent
restoration of their natural energy flow allows rapid healing to
take place.
Bi-Aura treats Depression 1 September,
2006 by Karen Evennett-Watts from Prima Magazine
New age medicine shifted my depression
Kelly Perks' mood swings were driving her friends and banking colleagues
mad. Kelly is 31 and lives in London.
The year of 2005 was a nightmare for me. In January, my marriage
broke dow and my husband moved out of our home. In March, I was
rushed to hospital with suspected appendicitis that turned out to
be a ruptured ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit - it nearly
killed me, and I lost an ovary. In August, my house was struck by
lightning as I lay in bed.
Since my husband had left, I'd been living alone for the first
time in my life - and I felt lonely and desolate. When the lightning
struck, blowing all my electrics, I couldn't even reach the fuse
box. But, worst of all, I was depressed at the prospect of never
being able to have a child. At 30, and single, with only one ovary,
my prospects didn't look good. I kept bursting into tears, but doctors
thought I was over-reacting. At work, I was up one minute and snapping
the next. Eventually, one of my colleagues begged me to visit a
bio-energy healer she'd met, who claimed to be able to treat stress
and depression.
The therapist didn't even touch me - she just waved her arms around
a lot over my body. She was clearing energy fields, or "chakras",
removing negative energy and getting my positive energy flowing
more freely. At first, I thought it was really weird and I was very
skeptical. But when I left feeling on top of the world, I had to
concede it was doing some good. Bio-energy healing is even gaining
the approval of orthodox doctors.
After six. sessions I knew my depression had lifted. I still face
the prospect of infertility, but now I'm more at ease with it I
feel as if all the negative thoughts from last year are water under
the bridge.

Bi-Aura treats IBS, by Amber Cowan from Times
Newspaper - Body & Soul Supplement
Can you feel the force? It works for me : Bi-Aura Therapy
When most of us get ill, blaming "troubled chakras" is
the last thing that we would think to do. But Sue Imms, 42, believes
that blocked energy points around her abdomen were the underlying
cause of her chronic irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and that a holistic
treatment called Bi-Aura therapy not only relieved her of her symptoms
but stopped her from sinking into depression.
Imms was 38 when she first suspected that she might be suffering
from IBS. She had been having terrible anxiety attacks since the
birth of her son, Oliver, then 4, and noticed that it was taking
a physical toll on her health. "I just couldn't relax,"
she recalls. "I had sweats and felt constantly on edge. I was
bottling up my emotions, I wasn't exercising and my diet was absolutely
awful. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I developed IBS, with severe stomach
pains, constipation and bloatedness."
Imms believes that the anxiety she felt came from the shock of
having a Caesarean birth and her problems adjusting to motherhood.
Previously, she had given up her job training shop staff to be a
stay-at-home mother. "I wasn't a very maternal person, so I
found the whole thing a big culture shock," she says. "There
was a big void in my life that I couldn't really deal with."
She first saw her GP in 2003 and, after an ultrasound scan was
told that she had IBS. According to the Digestive Disorders Foundation,
a third of people in Britain have occasional symptoms of IBS and
one person in ten has symptoms bad enough to require medical attention.
It commonly affects people aged between 15 and 40 but can occur
at any age. The symptoms appear to be due to an increased sensitivity
of the bowel, but the cause is not yet fully understood. Anxiety
and stress are commonly associated with the disorder.
Imms was also warned that she was on the brink of depression. Her
doctor suggested joining a therapy group, but the idea didn't appeal
to her. Instead she began to look for alternative health therapies.
It was then that she read about Bi-Aura in a magazine.
Bi-Aura may sound like the name of a probiotic drink, but it is
a system of healing that practitioners claim works by cleansing
the electromagnetic energy field around the body — the "aura"
— to activate its natural recovery potential. The therapist
passes her hands over the person's body, usually without touching,
feeling for blockages in the aura's seven main energy centres, known
as "chakras". Once trapped energy is removed, practitioners
believe that energy flows back into the areas that were previously
depleted, so the person becomes healthy again.
Imms liked the idea of a treatment that didn't involve being poked
or prodded. She contacted the Bi-Aura Foundation, which recommended
a therapist in her area, Lesley Gibson. Gibson had trained at the
foundation in London and had set herself up as a healer in Surrey
six years ago. At the first hour-long consultation, Gibson took
a medical history before doing a "scan" of Imms by passing
her hands around her body.
"This basically gives us a picture of how the energy is flowing,"
Gibson says. "We believe that people have two main chakras
in the body: the 'crown' chakra at the head, which takes in cosmic
energy from the Universe, and the "root" chakra at the
base of the spine, which takes in Earth energy. When all seven chakras
are working correctly, energy flows properly between these two and
the person is healthy. When the chakras start to shut down —
usually as a result of not releasing energy properly after a stressful
event — emotional, mental and physical illnesses can ensue."
Gibson believed that Imms had blockages in her solar plexus and
root chakras. She feels that these were caused by Imms suppressing
her emotions, and had led directly to the IBS and anxiety attacks.
She immediately began to work on clearing the blockages by passing
her hands around Imms's body.
"In Bi-Aura, we use our hands like magnets to pull the trapped
energy out of the body and to release it back into the Universe
as white light," Gibson says. "You then bring cosmic energy
over the aura to cleanse and flush out the flow of energy through
the system."
It sounds about as convincing as spritzing the body in patchouli
oil, but Imms claims that she felt tangible physical sensations
during the 45-minute cleansing. "I got pins and needles in
my feet, which Lesley explained was all the energy coming out of
my system. It was a very releasing experience," she says.
Gibson encourages her clients to have a course of three or four
initial once-a-week treatments, then top-up sessions as required.
Although Imms didn't feel any different after her initial session,
she was encouraged by the unusual experience and returned for her
follow-up appointments. At Gibson's suggestion she simultaneously
began to make changes in her life. She started eating more healthily,
drinking lots of water and hired a personal trainer to help her
exercise. She began learning to relax.
"The sessions opened my eyes to the fact that I could create
'me' time," she says. "I started listening to music at
home and burning essential oils. I also began doing t'ai chi stretches
that Lesley taught me, which made me more aware of myself and chilled-out."
Gradually, she noticed that her IBS was improving. "It was
a slow process, rather like when you cut your finger, then suddenly
realise that it has healed." After three Bi-Aura sessions,
she reduced her appointments to once a month, then once every three
months until, after a year, she felt that she was IBS-free. "I'm
a changed person. I no longer get so uptight about things. When
my rabbit died, instead of going to pieces, I dealt with it."
She also coped well with the birth of a daughter eight months ago.
Imms acknowledges that Bi-Aura sounds like the sort of treatment
that has no place outside the healing fields of Glastonbury. "How
can someone waving their arms all over you work?" Yet, despite
her scepticism, she maintains that it has changed her life. "Maybe
it was psychosomatic. But I believed in it and that helped me."
Alternative Therapy Answer to Years of Pain by
Jill Scott from The Sunday Post
FIVE YEARS ago we carried a story about the first handful of people
in Scotland to finish the training course which qualified them to
practise Bi-Aura therapy.
At the time, use of the therapy, which focuses on the important
part energy plays in our health, was in its infancy in this country.
Since then the use of Bi-Aura as a procedure to promote healing
has expanded considerably. There are now 60 registered practitioners
in both Ireland and Scotland and 220 throughout the UK.
Swimming pool accident brought Kathy's active life to an abrupt
halt
ONE of the first people to benefit from Bi-Aura therapy when it
was introduced north of the Border was Kathy Reddie from Clydebank.
She says discovering. Bi-Aura gave her back her life.
"I've always worked with adults with learning disabilities
and I really love my job," says Kathy (55). "In fact it
is my biggest dream to own a B & B and run it specifically for
disabled people."
However, an accident at work about 15 years ago left Kathy living
in pain. "I was trying to help someone get into a swimming
pool when they fell on top of me." she recalls.
"I had to be rescued and had agonising pain coming from my
back down my left side. I was told I'd damaged my skeletal frame
and had to lie on the floor for months as it was the only place
I could get comfortable.
Agony
"I could hardly walk any distance, couldn't carry any shopping
bags and going up and down stairs was agony. Standing for any length
of time to do housework like ironing or washing up was a non-starter.
"I had to give up going to the gym to keep fit, which was
something I had enjoyed.
"Luckily my family of three were grown up so I didn't have
the additional worry of having to look after them.
"I went back to work after a few months but was still in pain
. Over the following years, I tried everything to get rid of it.
I had physiotherapy, was referred to a back clinic, saw a chiropractor
and had a run of prescribed painkillers and antiinflammatory creams.
I popped pills one after another but they only masked the problem
and didn't solve it.
"Then one day I discovered one of my neighbours at the time,
Lorraine Mahon, was practising Bi-Aura.
"When she suggested I try it in a bid to cure my back problem
I was a bit cynical. I remember smiling at the very idea that a
therapy could take away my pain when nothing else I'd tried could.
However, I was prepared to have a go at anything because I was so
fed up living on 'happy pills' as I called them."
The principle of Bi-Aura has been around for thousands of years
and was used by Eastern healers who understood the important part
energy plays in our health. It works on the theory that every human
body has its own electrical field or "aura".
If that vital field is blocked, an area of the body stops receiving
the energy it needs and the result can be physical illness. Therapists
are trained to identify blockages in the body's energy field and
then to use their hands like magnets to release the blockages from
the aura's main energy centres, called chakras. Once the blockages
are removed the client should start to feel better in a matter of
days or weeks.
Therapists don't claim Bi-Aura will heal you but that it can unlock
the body's capacity to heal itself. Results can range from a sense
of well-being to genuine relief from chronic pain.
Kathy, a grandmother of five, continues, "After the very first
session I felt really good and within a few days I was pain-free
for the first time in years. Each time I went back the pain stayed
away for longer and longer.
"I had five or six sessions over a period of time and by then
my back pain was gone. I've not taken a painkiller in years and
probably lead a more active life now than I did before the accident.
"I try to go to the gym three times a week and have run in
a dozen or so races, including a 10k and a half-marathon.
Achievement
"I love getting out into the open countryside and just walking.
One of my greatest achievements was walking the Great Glen last
summer with a group of friends. I managed the 73 miles between Fort
William and Inverness no bother, something I could never have even
considered when I still had a sore back. Now I'd like to tackle
Ben Nevis.
"Having Bi-Aura also made me more interested in how the body
works and from what I've learned I've become more confident and
more serene.
"It must show on the outside too for one day recently my boss
said to me, 'There's something really different about you but I
can't place what it is'.
"I've just finished an HNC in Care, done a course in Reiki
and am going to do another as it can work very well with disabled
adults.
"I'll always be grateful to Bi-Aura for giving me back my
life and still go back to Lorraine for a session if I have any discomfort."
Treating Asthma, Cerebral Palsy, Diabetes by Yvonne
Gordon
A healing technique which claims to improve conditions including
asthma, cerebral palsy, depression, infertility and rheumatism by
balancing energy flow in the body is running its first London-based
workshops in Roehampton.
The capital's first students of Bi-Aura Therapy have almost completed
a nine-month, part-time diploma course at the Kairos Centre in Mount
Angelus Road, Roehampton.
Dan Kahn, 34, from Wandsworth Common Northside, has been training
for his diploma in Bi-Aura Therapy for eight months.
"One of my clients, who has diabetes, has seen her blood sugar
levels drop considerably after four sessions and feels much more
energised," he says.
"Another woman had a swelling caused by a broken ankle which
had not healed after six months. Within four weeks the swelling
had gone down and she also found she felt much better in herself.
"We regard Bi-Aura as an extension of conventional medicine
and want to work alongside it."
"I get a lot of satisfaction out of helping people and getting
their positive feedback," he adds
Maire Dennhofer, Bi-Aura co-ordinator for the UK, stresses the
therapy is not a miracle cure.
"Bi-Aura is based on the idea that the body has seven major
chakras, or energy centres, and it has had some success in treating
conditions from arthritis and spinal injuries to depression,"
she says. "It also acts as a stress-reliever for healthy people.
"The technique is based on the principle that everything we
can see and feel in the physical world around us, including the
body we inhabit, is a manifestation of bio-energy, which flows in
ordered patterns, the principle of which has been understood for
thousands of years.
"Any blockage of energy - whether heat, water or electricity
- produces a disruptive effect which can cause illness. The human
body has its own electro-magnetic field, sometimes called the aura.
If energy is blocked, the body does not receive the vital energy
it needs to remain healthy."
Maire thinks everyone has the potential to work with this form
of energy therapy.
The term bio-energy was devised from the work of psychiatrist Wilhelm
Reich, who called it orgone energy.
He devised a machine, an orgone accumulator, which attracted blocked
energy and came up with the system of bio-energetic massage to help
people get rid of what he termed "body armour". This was
practised at the Bio-energy Centre in London.
Bi-Aura practitioners also claim to be able to release blockages
in energy flow. To restore the flow they use their heightened sensitivity
to work on the patient's energy field (aura) without touching or
using any oils or special equipment.
People who have received the treatment speak of results ranging
from a sense of peace and wellbeing to the relief of chronic pain.
David Chapman, 32, who works in Streatham, found the therapy very
helpful after he had an accident.
"I had headaches, muscular and back problems after a biking
accident and found this therapy most beneficial," he explains.
"It is non-invasive and I felt a positive difference straight
away when my energy started moving. It is excellent for people who
have physical problems rooted in an emotional cause which is preventing
healing."
Bi-Aura Energy Therapy is supported by physician Dr Mark Atkinson,
vice-president of the Complementary Medical Association.
"Bi-Aura Therapy represents the most powerful, exciting and
clinically effective energy healing therapy that I have witnessed,"
he says.
Journalist Lesley Gibson, 34, is also training to learn the art
of Bi-Aura Therapy.
"I had been healing people for years instinctively. I decided
to train after I had a demonstration session in which I felt negative
energy being pulled from my sore arms," she says.
"One client, Sarah Hartley, had constant jaw pain which cleared
up completely after three treatments."
Lesley, who also helped two young men with arthritis, explains
that training takes place one weekend each month and teaches what
ailments are related to each chakra - treating the cause rather
than the condition.
Bi-Aura expert Michael D'Alton will be in Roehampton this Sunday
and on Sunday, May 12, 2002, to explain and demonstrate the technique.
He suffered from asthma and eczema for many years before having
bio-energy therapy.
"Like many people, when you're sick, you try everything. After
I had the bio-energy treatment for four days in a row both my conditions
vanished," he says.
